The PC Grant Novels by Ben Aaronovitch

2.0

2 and a half. I love the idea of a paranormal detective in modern day London but surprisingly, I didn't enjoy the three books as much as I thought I would. Perhaps it was the constant rehashing of concepts that bored me or the annoyance at the fact that Lesley's experience wasn't explored further after the Puppet incident. I was taken aback at all that lingering on the female form to the point where I had to ask my mates if they really focused so intensely on the hips of every woman they met.

It was wonderful to meet characters from a divese set of backgrounds though. Is it weird to say that this would be great as a Netflix series?
