If Only You Fell by Stefanie Castro

I loved this book. Period. Loved it.

I read Stefanie’s first book in the series If Only You Knew, so I was already introduced to Elody and loved her before reading this. Wyatt was also briefly mentioned in that book. Even with him being mentioned I’m not sure what I expected from their story but it wasn’t this.

I knew about Beau from book one, but diving into Elodys every day struggles from her view and how she was impacted in this book tugged at every piece of my heart.

I usually don’t cry too much if I can help it, especially not while reading. But Stefanie really knew what she was doing writing this because there were several tear jerking moments for me in this book.

Don’t even get me started on how I was sobbing at 3am at the end of the book. I lost it. I truly did.

The buildup of emotions and me trying to contain my sniffles just broke at the end. Which I won’t even discuss further to avoid spoilers but please give this a read.

Their story was beautiful. The way Wyatt fought for Elody as grumpy as he was was beautiful.

I also like how the first two books featured more mature characters. I can’t wait for the next book though because I know Grant and Laney are younger and I’m interested to see what will happen with that.

I can easily see I’ll be crying during that one too.

These can be read as standalone but it would be a better reading experience to read book one first.
