A Dog's Journey by W. Bruce Cameron

4.0

Dog stories, in book or movie form, always make me cry. Without fail, I bawl like a baby every single time, and this one was no exception. In fact, the last three pages of this book made me cry harder than any book has since Mockingjay (and if you knew the depth of my unshakable, passionate love for Gale Hawthorne, you would know that that is A LOT OF CRYING.)

It's amazing to me that this author manages to tell full and rich stories about multiple humans all from a, maybe this is a ridiculous descriptor, believable viewpoint of a dog. It's heartwarming and hilarious and sad and just... If you want to read something that will make you feel, this is it.

I definitely look at my own dog a little differently now and will probably be feeding her extra treats every day for the foreseeable future.
