The things I enjoyed about this book unfortunately don't outweigh the things I didn't.
The writing I found lacking, to the point where I sometimes cringed from the phrases used or lack of consistency between characters from one chapter to the next.
I enjoyed the twists and turns, and do praise the author for that because I wasn't able to predict what was coming to a degree!
I won't be finishing the series, but I can see why lots of people might enjoy this particular boom.
