I ended up hate-finishing this book. Freida McFadden, the editor and the publisher should be ashamed she did such a poor rip off of “Misery” by Stephen King. None of the characters are even remotely likable and Freida attempts to fix the plot by “…and then”-ing it to death. 

1.5 stars because I finished it, but I would never recommend it to someone. If I was stuck in a cabin without electricity, I’d rather watch this book burn for entertainment than re-read it.
