A friends to lovers romance where everyone bar the couple involved seemed to know how things were going. Minor gripe, and it was hard not to find this festive focus a pleasant diversion.
Stella has known Luka pretty much since she moved to the town to run her dream Christmas tree farm. Things are tight, but she’s determined not to abandon her dream. This is why she applies to be featured on the site of a well-known media influencer…her only problem is she says she runs it with her boyfriend.
The pair agree to fake date for the week of the visit. From the reactions of everyone we know it’s pretty obvious everyone is rooting for these two to get together. From early on it’s obvious they both feel the same way…but just haven’t found the nerve to move it past the friend zone.
From start to finish there were cliches aplenty. However, if you are looking for a light diversion that will put a smile on your face then it’s not a bad choice.
