 I like the dual timeline on this new novel by L.A. Shaw. We get to meet Bellamy and Shaw the year before they went to college, when their parents moved in together and they met for the first time. I like finding out how they fell for each other and gravitating around one another.

It was heartbreaking to see what they decided to do before they went to college and to see both of them struggling to be next to each other but at the same time being miles away. The tension and the pining was palpable, their chemistry is off the charts, and you can’t help it but root for them to overcome every obstacle put in their way.
