Anne of the Island by L.M. Montgomery
4.0
This was another fun romp with our beloved Anne. She's at college with her girlfriends, and all of our favorite characters back at Avonlea. Anne is growing up, becoming a woman and is just as lovable as always.
These books are always delightful, and I greatly enjoy the brief adventures they represent-they're not overly taxing, and Anne is just as beloved by me as she is by her friends and (short-lived) enemies.
I can't wait to see where Anne's adventure will lead, and I will stick with this series until the end!
I recommend this book to any looking for a light-culturally important read, especially if you've read the two earlier books-this is best if you have the lead-in of Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea.
