Know My Name by Chanel Miller

challenging hopeful inspiring reflective tense medium-paced

5.0

At a certain point in this book, Chanel Miller described the vigil for Christine Ford as “beautiful rage” and I think that’s a perfect description of this book.

I thought it would be just so sad. But this book didn’t make me sad, it filled me with strength and validation and power.

And on top of that it’s so beautifully written. She uses metaphors in incredible ways—reminding me of Anne Lamott.
