God, Greed, and the (Prosperity) Gospel: How Truth Overwhelms a Life Built on Lies by Costi W. Hinn
4.0
I really enjoyed this book. I grew up in an evangelical church. Not one that necessarily preached prosperity gospel, but close enough. This was a great, easy read on why this particular type of preaching is wrong, and how you can change your view of God and the Bible. I read it all in one afternoon and evening. Not a difficult read, but full of great little truth nuggets that really resonated with me. He started out at the beginning saying that if you like things to go deep, this probably wouldn't go deep enough for you. And if you like a more storytelling approach, it probably wouldn't have quite enough stories for you. I thought it was a good balance of the two, although I do like things to go a little deeper myself.
