Farewell Andromeda by Laurie A. Green

Gotta get one thing out of the way: insta-love. A severe case of it.

There. Now that that's said, I'll do my best to ignore it and judge the book ignoring that pet peeve.

This was a good quick read, and that's awesome considering the virtual stack of sci fi romances I've tried to read lately but haven't been able to finish.

This is a straight up romance with a space setting. If you're looking for something that's deep on plot, this might not be the book for you. On the other hand, I usually read for plot and I still enjoyed this, enough that I'm interested in the author's new book that just released. New book is broken into parts, tho, so I'll likely wait until they're all out before buying.

Anyway, a good story with great, accessible writing. The heroine didn't get on my nerves -another problem I tend to have with SFR - and the glimpses of world building peaked my interest.

For a summary of the plot: pilot girl meets scientist guy. They fall in insta-love. An interesting problem arises, keeping them apart. They overcome problem and live HEA.

It's an enjoyable read that leaves me hopeful I might like the author's full length book.
