Being the youngest, Booker suffers the most with abandonment issues. He doesn't let anyone but family in, as he just can't handle the thought of loosing someone he loves.

His childhood BFF Poppy is moving back to town, and he convinces her it'd be more convenient to just move in with him. It's close to her job & he's missed her.

The problem is, Poppy was in love with him & fled to Uni when she saw him in their special spot with another girl. She's reluctant, but agrees. Turns out, Booker may have deeper feelings for her than he's aware of, as they get drunk and almost sleep together on her first night in town.

Eventually they do the deed, but he's got his hang-ups, and Poppy needs clarification. So with Belle & Indie, they come up with a plan to make Booker confess his feelings. It sort of works, but he's still freaked out. There's drama, but also a sweet HEA.
