The Book of Air and Shadows by Michael Gruber
3.0

Picked this one up for a light read on a long cross country road trip to Seattle. Gruber, a Seattle native, hence the book choice, tells the story of a lost Shakespeare manuscript the the adventure that surrounds its recovery. Think "The Da Vinci Code" meets a lawyer and some gangsters. Gruber does tell an interesting story and he can write, but the book is essentially a cryptographers mystery. Another in a long line of light reads but not in the literary tradition. Summer beach book read that was read in hotels along interstate 80.
