So, this is first book I have read from Staci Hart and I read it in one day. I am currently sitting here wondering why ON EARTH have I not read a Staci Hart book before?! This one hooked me from the very beginning and I am currently deciding which Staci Hart book to read next - if you have recs let me know!
Coming Up Roses is the first book in the Bennet Brothers series and is a spin-off from The Austens series. Tess and Luke were childhood friends until one day, they weren't. Tess hates Luke and Luke has no clue where their friendship went wrong. Present day, Luke and Tess couldn't have different personalities. Luke is definitely more wild & free, where Tess is really the complete opposite.
I love a good enemies to lover story. The slow burn of Tess and Luke's relationship was one of the best parts of this story. There were many other parts I enjoyed. One of my favorite parts was seeing the transformation of the flower shop. I also loved seeing Luke woo Tess and Tess realize that grown-up Luke is a lot different than teenage Luke!
This was a fantastic book from Staci Hart and a great start to a new series. I seriously cannot wait for the next Bennet Brothers book!
