The Rosie Effect
by Graeme Simsion
The followup book to The Rosie Project brings us to the point of Rosie and Don's marriage after 10 months and with the additional component of living in New York and an unplanned pregnancy. Don, somewhat overwhelmed by this development and, predictably, difficulties ensue. There are meltdowns and incidents and uproars and the honeymoon is over. The end result is quite satisfying and we see how Don, through his own words, grows as a social being. Light and eminently enjoyable.
