While I loved the Short Stories within The Witcher, it leaves me a bit worried how it'll handle an overarching narrative -- even with how important Ciri is as a character and how it's the only thing that moves the plot forward. The political stuff I wasn't too much of a fan off but looking forward to the latter books. Helps a lot that I played The Wild Hunt which provides a clear image of its world.
