The first part of the book breakdown the science and many different known brain diseases. It talks about the practical things know to promote brain health and contesting things marketed today. The second part focuses on habits to adopt and actions to take in the long term. The 12-step plan is very practical and approachable.

I'm sure I'll find myself returning to this book later in life as a refresher! A great read if you're curious about brain health, the impact of physical health on the brain, and concerns about various brain diseases.
