I have been reading other reviews for this book and I really do wonder if this is a book that will give the reader completely different experiences, depending on whether they read an ebook, read a physical copy, or listen to the audiobook. So, for reference, I listened to the audiobook.

And this was, without a doubt, the best audiobook I have ever listened to.

From what I can tell, the book itself is multimedia. The audiobook definitely takes the incredibly creative way the physical book is compiled and reproduces that with a full cast and sound engineering. It is incredibly immersive. I would describe it like if a movie was designed to not be seen, only imagined. I will continue consuming the rest of the series in audiobook form.

This is a space opera sci-fi with a romance, but don't go looking for the chivalry and miss the incredible women heroes. The characters are well developped and the plot won't let you go, even throwing a few twists that I certainly didn't expect.

I've already recommended this ebook and will continue to do so.
