The Land of Roar by Jenny McLachlan
4.0
Honestly fun and a perfect adventure world too. Crowky is definitely nightmare inducing.
I really liked how clear it was that Rose had started to grow up and Arthur was being left behind. While I mostly didn’t like Rose, this definitely happens and I think it was well done. And I liked Arthur and Grandad, their interactions were wonderful.
Roar is a perfectly wonderful childhood fantasy adventure land, and I loved how clear it was that it had come from the twins.
Good solid fun. I’m sad i haven’t found my make believe world now.
