How Not to Be a Boy
by Robert Webb
inspiring
lighthearted
reflective
medium-paced
I previously enjoyed the humour of Robert Webb through programmes like Peep Show, so was pleased to witness the same wit shine through his memoir. Powerfully self-aware, pirouetting across a range of different emotions and human experiences, so much of How Not to Be a Boy was relatable even though I very well could be classed as Robert Webb’s direct antithesis. I listened to this on Audible so it came with some great bonus content.
Graphic: Suicidal thoughts, Suicide attempt
Moderate: Cancer, Death
