The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness

5.0

This was a surprisingly difficult to put down book. It's very unique, it's written in the thoughts of the main character, an illiterate teenage boy, so the book is riddled with intentional grammatical and spelling mistakes. This just makes it feel more authentically like the character's voice though, and it's very captivating and emotional. It's easy to get wrapped up in the main character as he sets off on the journey that will turn him into a man.
