This was absolutely incredible.
I am not a sci fi reader. I like low fantasy for the most part, maybe a sprinkle of sci fi. So Dune was a huge step out of my comfort zone. After I watched the first movie I knew I had to read it before the rest come out and I was not disappointed. I was never bored while reading this book, everything was so was written and truly fascinating. I loved learning about this new world and all their interpersonal relationships. I sometimes had a little trouble remembering all the characters but that’s not a reflection on the book it’s an issue I always have with big casts.
I cannot recommend it enough.
