No wonder it was Dalida's iconic song that made me read this. A controversial book? Sign me up!
However, I didn't know I would feel this bad after finishing it. I had read the synopsis months ago and thought "ooh, that's interesting", but now that I've read the actual book myself, I feel indescribably weird (and not in a positive way).
This was disgustingly disturbing.
