We Still Here: Pandemic, Policing, Protest, and Possibility by Marc Lamont Hill

2.25

I wasn't a fan of the first half of the book, especially the constantly repeated term "covid capitalism" gave me the ick. But the second part of the book was amazing especially the visions for abolition. Super informative for those unsure about what various terms like "All Black Lives Matter" mean, why and how discrimination and violence play out differently based on someone's identity and how they are perceived in a white supremacist patriarchal capitalist society.
