Black Rabbit Hall
by Eve Chase
A modern gothic delight, complete with a decaying manor, family secrets, forbidden love, and a sense of foreboding that is expertly woven throughout the story. The author did a wonderful job of switching between the two perspectives and time periods, not letting one overshadow the other. She leaves each section with a cliffhanger that keeps you riveted, and desperate to read more. At times a sad and heartbreaking read, but there is some light that shines through the darkness in this one.
