For those that are contemplating reading this series… THE COVER ART DOES NOT DO THIS BOOK JUSTICE. Don’t get me wrong the covers are hot and this book does have some spice sprinkled into it, but the suspense I felt while reading book 2 in this series was insane and definitely stole the show.
In the second novella in this series, we see more of Logan in action. I think we see more of his take charge personality, as well as who he truly is as a character. We get even more glimpses into Lana’s past as we start piecing together what exactly happened that night, and you finally start to understand why she does what she does. I cannot stress this enough: Lana deserves so much more than the world gave her, and I love her character. My heart was breaking for her during the last chapters in this book, and I want to protect her at all costs.
