It was too childish for my taste. And whatever I did expect from this book, I didn’t expect "childish".

It started out pretty serious, and then turned into something lame. The only reason I kept reading was because I didn’t wanna DNF the very first book of 2023. At this rate, I can count on one finger how many "first book of the year" has impressed me in the last ten years.

The title caught my eyes initially. And I thought it would be a crazy ride or something. Instead, it was full of cliches. The characters aren’t that well-portrayed and I couldn’t connect at all. Everything felt distant.

So so disappointed. Still 3 stars for the effort and somehow making me finish it.
