I couldn't put this down, I ended up finishing this in two days. The writing and plot were what kept me strapped in. The forest element really played a nice part in the story and remained a mystery for most of the book. I was looking forward to some romance or sharing of feelings between the two characters after the initial tension they are introduced with, for most of the book it is not that, instead we follow the struggles the character is going through internally with their sexuality and I really enjoyed this perspective and what it adds to the story of this character.
