Home Before Dark by Riley Sager
4.0
This book was lazy but entertaining.
I am not a fan of Sager, but I heard that this was his best work so I decided to give it a try and to his credit: it is his best book.
The story was good and so were the twists which is why I give it 4 stars. I was not a fan of how many twists there were… but still it was good.
The chapters that lined up w her father’s book were the WORST. I honestly hated those chapters and just fought through until they were done. I’m not sure if Sager intentionally wrote those chapters in a cheesy and immature way but it was hard to get through those.
