This was an incredibly well-crafted book. The author wove several stories together perfectly, transporting us between time and place. The book really focuses on overcoming one's fractured childhood. It was a bit of a hard read at times, as it dealt with child abuse/child pornography. But since the book was so much more than that, it is worth the heart ache of that topic.
