“At the center of the flowers,he found two people. Vin lay wearing her customary mist cloak, shirt, and trousers. Elend was in a brilliant white uniform complete with cape. They were holding hands as they lay amid the flowers.
And they were both dead.”


I was not expecting that ending at all but it was so well done and probably one of my favorite endings of all time now for anything. 

This is now one of my favorite trilogies coming in very close to the LOTR. Each of these books got even better than the one before it. I can’t wait to read storm light and the rest of the cosmere.
