This book...guys this fucking book!
I can't deal with the amount of love I have for Beau and Sage. This love story was epic. It had a little of everything, filth, sweetness, friendship, angst, banter, feels, horses, mustache rides, toys as teammates... I could go on, but I'm trying not to spoil anything.
Beau, this man has me on my knees. I can't believe I'm saying this, but he just dethroned Storm as my number one favorite Crimson Ridge man. His mouth, his heart, his soft side...good lord Elliott, you raised the bar to impossible levels. At the first ‘baby’, I folded…immediately folded. His mouth was the stuff dreams are made of. I’m fighting demons not to highlight every word out of his mouth. The size difference? Him manhandling her? YES GAWD.
The bromance in this book was so damn good I almost wanted them to actually fuck…once…just for science, you can't blame me, Beau AND Storm together? I would pay good money, organs if necessary.
Beau Heartford is indeed worthy of being first-and-last-named in the same reverential breath.
When it comes to Sage? I don't feel anything but the need to be around her.
Damn, the quiet ones really do get you.
Sage had me questioning my sexuality because she's a damn fine woman, with a personality to match. She was explosive, fun, honest, and so so so brave. Her standards were sky high, her heart locked up, and her older-sister-syndrome kicking and alive. But she had the softest side for her friends, her sisters, and her parents...and Beau and his mustache.
I truly enjoyed with a passion that the working element, her creating, packaging, and overall being extremely busy, was included. Her work is an integral part of her, and I loved that it was highlighted and accepted by Beau without a single complaint.
Also, his being so nonchalant and not acting weird about her being Bi was the best thing ever. Sage having his number saved as “Cock ring” cracked me the fuck up.
Single mom love will always get me in my feelings, so Sage not only loving her mom, but being extremely happy about her finding her now father, made me tear up.
