I didn't expect to love this book as much as I did, but honestly? This was a blast. The prose was delightful, Ramson and Ana's banter cracked me up. My worst moment was getting to the end and realizing the 'Fall 2020' release for the sequel had been pushed back due to the COVID publishing situation. Some of the exposition could be a little wonky, and I feel like there were a few too many twists at the end. But I loved the dynamic between the main characters and how they never fully trusted one another, the discussion of what makes good and evil, and how no one was showing their full hand at any time. Very hopeful that Red Tigress builds on these strengths!
