Two Tales Dark and Grim: The Key/The Brothers Piggett by Rachel Hawkins, Julie Kagawa

3.0

I received a Kindle copy of this book from the publisher in return for an honest review:
(3.5 stars)
Because this book was a compilation of different author's short stories, some were bound to be good and some were bound to be bad. For the most part, there were more good short stories in this collection than bad. Some of the stories were creepy and others funny. It was a good mixture, but by the end of reading it, I was ready to be done reading re-writes of Grim fairy tales. There were a few standout stories that really made me wish that they would be transferred into a novel. I read this on my Kindle, but you should check out this book in hardback; it's pretty gorgeous.
