I won't go through all 30 volumes (I kinda blasted through this series because of how excited I was), but I think this series changed my life unironically. From when I was in middle school watching the anime in its two seasons to now as the third season just released, Kuronuma and friends are all my friends now. Except for Joe.

It's been a while since I got to the end of Kimi ni Todoke and the ending really nails it. I wish there was more going into their futures (

especially a Chizu and Ryu wedding after college moment

) but I say goodbye to these people knowing that they have good lives ahead of them; and they aren't even real people. Every build-up and every challenge that they faced comforts me to know they all had each other. Like maybe in the real world it helps to rely on others too.

My only gripe about this series, which isn't serious enough to dock any stars, is that

Ayane should've kissed a woman. I need to do a mythic analysis on the unconscious comphet in this series... the amount of times she says that she's never fallen in love with any of her partners but she quips "if I were a boy, would you date me" and so on and so forth... Agh! She deserved a butch girlfriend.
