How amazing to have such a well preserved history of an impactful trans figure in US history. I found Sullivan frustrating at times, but that’s just a matter of personal preference rather than commentary on the value of this book. So heartbreaking to think about how many we’ve lost to AIDS, and how many we might continue to lose as access to medication is cut worldwide.
