Orphan X - The Uber Variant!
Anyone who has read previous Orhpan X novels knows that this is a very special individual with exceptional skills and abilities far beyond those of normal men (no, he is not Superman, but in many ways he appears to be)!
However, in the latest iteration of The Nowhere Man, Orphan X, aka Evan Smoak, has virtually taken on the role of Superman - so much so that at times I found myself in an even greater state of disbelief than usual while reading these novels. This is not to say that the story is totally implausible or unenjoyable, as it is an exceptionally fast and gripping read, which I literally could not put down. However, that being said, one must completely suspend any version of reality to believe that such a story could ever possibly exist. So, if you can do so, you most likely will enjoy this book - if not, perhaps it might be best to consider a different read!
