I was just looking for a lighthearted book to bide my time until another book became available on Libby. I've seen her books in bookstores, but I've never really bothered to read them or honestly heard much about them.
Overall, I actually really enjoyed it and read it quickly! It was entertaining and sweet within the second chance love story/not communicating trope. Also in addition to the one Black friend friend being included but at least she had somewhat of a life built upwith the farm, girlfriend, and pregnancy . I liked how she did the timeline of Happy Place (past memories of friendship and building her life with Wyn) vs. the present. I loved Wyn and Harriet's banter and jokes with each other!
I'm sticking with 4 stars, like I enjoyed it and it's great but it was not the best book ever.
