I really enjoyed this summer read. There are a lot of different characters to get to know in the neighborhood, teenagers and adults alike, who are all experiencing some sort of crisis or trauma... Or attempting to support others who are. The book opens with a murder at the annual block party then bumps back a year and leads up to the murder.
