Many people praise this story as one with a "morally grey" MMC, but this just a character who quite literally bullies and abuses the FMC for the majority of the book.

And she kisses him despite that? We calling that romance now?

The world and politics were engaging, but the writing itself felt rudimentary and too juvenile to me. I'm sure this book is for many people, but it wasn't for me!
