Cards on the Table by Agatha Christie
4.0

4 Agatha Christie sleuths and 4 people who have got away with murder and all 8 of them are invited to a dinner party by a man who knows all of their secrets. Naturally he turns up dead, but which of them committed the crime? I loved this plot and can't believe I haven't read it until now. This was a fairly slow paced book with lots of talk of psychology rather than any tangible clues to go after. This is the first novel Ariadne Oliver has appeared in and she is definitely Agatha Christie fictionalised. Her little remarks about being an author provide some great comedy moments. Pretty enjoyable read.
