i really liked this! i’m all for that unrequited love / friends to lovers combo and it worked so well here. i really liked both sloane and jasper, and was surprised by how attached i grew to them considering we hadn’t seen much of them in the previous books.
the only thing i don’t know how i feel about is the beau going missing plotline… i’m kind of confused about why it was needed?? unless its going to become relevant for his book because of PTSD, it really felt like it was kind of thrown in here for shock value or something. but overall, really enjoyed this!
