While I did enjoy the series, Book 2 and Book 3 did not have as much of the magic that made me love Book 1. The premise is sitll very interesting, but like my issues with Book 2, I still only found myself caring about Kissan's, Ina's and Skeid's POV chapters. I was just not gripped by Elo or Aarin at all. One thing it brought back was the team all being together, or mostly together which is what made me lose a lot of sparkle for Book 3. I did like how epic the finale was and I'm overall satisfied with how it ended (though a little bit sniffly about it ;_;)
Graphic: Death, Violence, Fire/Fire injury, War
Moderate: Animal death
