I know that this was written before the pandemic, but DAMN if this doesn't feel like something that could have been written in the middle of it. I've always loved these sorts of books, but I have a whole new appreciation for it after the early 2020s. 

I'm not going to spoil anything, just, if you like sort of apocalyptic type books where disease is the cause, then definitely read this as it's a quick read.
