I'm actually giving this one 3.75 stars and rounding up for Goodreads and NetGalley. This was a solid story. And while the pacing didn't always work for me, and some of the "quirks" were annoying and not endearing, I still managed to finish it within a day. When I walked away due to competing responsibilities, I was imagining what was going to happen next. So technically, while I thought the story had some problems. Clearly, there was enough "there" there. 😍
