The Year We Fell Down
by Sarina Bowen
I have to preface this by saying that I normally hate reading NA romance, but after reading a novella from the middle of this series and enjoying it, I wanted to see what the beginning of the series was like. I must admit, I couldn't put this book down!
I loved how realistically handicapped life in a college dorm was portrayed! You could really feel the difficulties that Adam and Corey had to overcome. I also liked seeing how they both overcame those difficulties! I thought that it was a bit realistic that Corey's parents would smother her a bit and her father wouldn't want to talk about hockey with her anymore.
I loved how Corey and Adam challenged one another, and how their relationship grew over the course of the story, despite Corey's efforts not to "poach" Adam away from his current girlfriend. It really spoke to her character! I also loved the supporting characters at the college, and can't wait to read more about them!
This is definitely one that I'm going to have to get for my keeper shelf!
