This book is likely to make you ugly cry if you let it. It could be that for me because it hit close to home for personal reasons, but I cried and I haven’t cried at anything I’ve read before. I felt the pain and the heartache and the emotion of these characters and this story. I was emotionally distraught for a day after finishing it. (I read it in two days.)
This story is precious and heartbreaking at the same time. There were times I was frustrated with Kenna and how she was doing things but when I sat back and thought about it, Colleen Hoover kept Kenna’s personality intact with her actions the entire time.
This is one I won’t read often, but one I won’t soon forget either.
