I would put this at a 3.5

I enjoyed reading this. The characters were fun, the writing was very descriptive, and the plot took you on an adventure.

With a positive reading experience I had, sharing pieces with boyfriend so he also was entertained, I would say it's a fun read.

I got so many Fairy Tail vibes from this book. Leena is very Lucy with how the summoning of beasts work. Really cool.

I really loved Noc as a character. This dude was sexy and morally grey AF. Such
a great time to love assassins am I right?!

Some thing that I wasn't too thrilled with:

The pacing was a bit of an issue. There was action but then it would slam you to a stop on the next page. Sometimes that's good to have, but it happened a lot, which had me rolling my eyes a little bit.

When they finally said they loved each other...they didn't stop. I kept thinking "yes, I get it, you love each other, now can we move on to the next location?"

I would have liked the love story to have grown a bit more. This isn't the end of their story, so more of a build up spread out over the books would have been better. Unless they break up and end up with other people by the end, which isn't the vibe I'm getting by the words they're using to describe each other.
