The Rest of Us Just Live Here
by Patrick Ness
I really enjoyed this book, since it provided an atypical perspective of an impending disaster. Rather than the plot being driven by the strange happenings in the small town and the indie kids destined to save humanity from those threats, this book focuses on the "outsiders"; ordinary kids who are just trying to navigate their friendships, families, feelings, and future lives.
