A terribly sad book about grief that would have hit a lot harder if I cared about the characters, but I didn't. Except you, Lexi. No one could make me hate you.
I feel like this was the weakest of the Kristin Hannah books I've read. It wasn't bad at all, but it definitely struggles due to the unlikeable characters. Also, I knew where this was going the second poor (and boy does this book emphasizes her poorness) Lexi decided to play with rich people.
